DIY Eucalyptus Body Scrub

Happy Monday! One way to feel indulgent without breaking the bank is to make your own body scrub at home. You can use this as an extra step in your beauty regimen to exfoliate, (scrub that dry skin away boo). Or, simply use it as a way to pamper yourself after a long day. Either way, this scrub will leave your skin feeling soft, help you de-stress, and lift your mood.

You Will Need:

  • 2 cups of regular ol’ white sugar
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil ( Anjou Coconut oil 100% organic extra virgin $8.89 Amazon.com Any brand will do. This is just my preference)
  • 10-15 drops Eucalyptus Essential Oil (Aura Cacia, Eucalyptus, Essential oil $15.14 amazon.com)
  • Mason jar or air tight container

That’s it! Simply mix your ingredients together and enjoy! Easy peasy right?

There are a few benefits to using Eucalyptus oil in your scrubs. It purifies and invigorates, helps clear your air passages, reduces inflammation, anti stress benefits, provides mental clarity, and an instant mood enhancer. There is a reason why they use this in steam rooms at a spa ya’ll. This would also make a great gift. I swear they’ll be so impressed with you. lol.

How do you de-stress after a long day and what are some of your favorite body scrubs?

Until next time boo boos. Shanti Shanti!

Oooooh this looks and sounds amazing! I’m a big brown sugar body scrub girl (with coconut oil and cinnamon) which is awesome for winter, but I’m really tempted to make this to be reminded of Aus while I’m living in the US!
